Policy
Terms
These terms apply to the current informational websites at OpenlyUseful.org and OpenlyUseful.com and to site content not covered by a separate license.
Current operator and publisher status
These terms are offered by the founder-operated Openly Useful project, which is the current operator of the informational sites and can be contacted at hello@openlyuseful.org. Openly Useful LLC is the planned legal entity, with status formation-pending. These terms do not represent that planned entity as formed, active, or the current operator. Publisher details will be updated after formation and required publisher verification are complete.
Using the sites
You may browse, link to, and reference the public sites for lawful purposes. Do not interfere with the sites, bypass security controls, misrepresent affiliation, use the sites to distribute harmful material, or attempt to access infrastructure or accounts you do not own.
Open-source projects and site materials
Code, documentation, brand assets, and repositories may include their own licenses and usage rules. Those file-level or repository-level terms control for the covered material. A public link or downloadable file does not grant rights beyond its applicable license. Openly Useful names, marks, and visual identity may not be used to imply endorsement or affiliation.
External links
Links to repositories, products, and third-party services are provided for convenience. Openly Useful does not control their availability, content, security, or policies.
No warranty
The current sites and informational materials are provided on an “as available” basis. To the extent permitted by applicable law, no warranty is made that they will be uninterrupted, error-free, complete, or suitable for a particular purpose. Nothing on these sites is legal, financial, medical, or other professional advice.
Future commercial and marketplace terms
These terms do not activate a paid service, marketplace transaction, subscription, hosted MCP service, or other commercial offering. Applicable commercial or provider-specific terms will be published and accepted only after the planned entity’s formation and the required publisher or marketplace verification are complete.
Questions and changes
Questions may be sent to hello@openlyuseful.org with subject TERMS. Material changes will be published here with a new last-updated date.
